Silverstein – Ready for some chaos
Canadian band will perform in Mexico on May, 24 & 25th

Silverstein is almost in Mexico, so QUARTER ROCK PRESS could get to talk with them to know their expectations, and we figured out they couldn’t wait to sing again for their Mexican fans, and to be touring again in Latin America.
Canadian band is currently promoting their latest album, ‘I Am Alive In Everything I Touch’, which was recorded in their home town of Toronto, and “takes the listener on a journey for sure”, being at the same time hard hitting, smooth singing.
“I think it was the first time we made a record so close to our houses. It came after 18 months of super busy touring, and I think we were all feeling pretty worn out. I think the concept was cool because it was shared stories about the whole band, not just one person. It was very literally about travel which is practically all we know at this point”.
The band recalls their last visit at this country as incredible, so they wish they were staying longer, because they feel really connect on an emotional level with their passionate, engaged and intense fans.
Post hardcore band would be performing on May 25th next to The Word Alive and For The Fallen Dreams, sharing stage easily, ‘cause everyone would play at the same time, and, as weird as it may sound, “at least it would be LOUD”, and they expect Latin America tour to be chaos.
So, Shane Told, Paul Marc Rousseau, Josh Bradford, Billy Hamilton and Paul Koehler cannot wait to be on a plane, share crazy shows, good food, good friends, beautiful cities and to take their post hardcore sound –still alive for them, even getting into post-post hardcore now- to their oldest fans, always beside them, for 17 years.
